Criminal History Reports 

Criminal History reports can be obtained during the hours of 9:00AM – 4:00PM (Monday – Friday) by visiting the Cairo Police Department located at 55 3rd Avenue NW, Cairo, Georgia 39828. 

The cost for a Criminal History Report is $20.00.

Payment must be made at City Hall located at 119 North Broad Street, Cairo, Georgia 39828.

Georgia Criminal History Record Restrictions

O.C.G.A. §35-3-37 provides for the restriction of certain criminal history records for non-criminal justice purposes when approved by the prosecuting attorney. For arrests after July 1, 2013, there is no application process. You must contact the prosecutor to have your record restricted. For arrests prior to July 1, 2013, you are required to apply for restriction at the arresting agency.

Eligible applicants are required to pay a non-refundable fee of $20.00 and payment must be made at City Hall located at 119 North Broad Street, Cairo, Georgia 39828.

*If your record is approved for restriction, please send an additional $25.00 fee to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
