Sealed bids will be received for construction of FY22 CDBG Sanitary Sewer System Improvements, CDBG No.: 22p-x-065-2-6269 by the City of Cairo, at 119 North Broad St, Cairo GA 39828, until 11:00AM, Thursday, June 29th, 2023, local time, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Bid Documents can be obtained from Watkins & Associates, L.L.C., 1606 Whiddon Mill Road, Tifton, Georgia 31793, Phone: (229) 388-8823, (Engineer) upon payment of $300.00 for each set (non-refundable).  Any Contractor submitting a bid must be a pre-qualified Georgia Department of Transportation Contractor.  License numbers must be written on the face of the bid envelope.  No bid will be opened unless the license number is clearly shown. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the City of Cairo, located at 119 North Broad St, Cairo GA 39828 or at Watkins & Associates, LLC on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8 A.M. and 5 P.M.  The City of Cairo is committed to Affirmatively Further Fair Housing. This project is funded in part by a Community Development Block Grant.
